The Lauren’s downtown location makes it ideal to enjoy these outdoor activities.
We had a soggy spring in the Bethesda area, this year, with a near-record fifteen days of continuous rain (the record is seventeen days, in 1935). The sun is shining now, however, as we head into June, and there is no shortage of things to see, hear, and do in our beautiful city.
One of the summer highlights of living in Downtown Bethesda are the outdoor concerts. The Bethesda Urban Partnership will be presenting its annual Summer Concert Series, Thursdays at Veterans Park (just a few blocks away from The Lauren).
In addition to musical offerings, there are outdoor activities almost daily, from exuberant zumba classes and farmers’ markets, to happy hours and baseball games, all within an easy distance from The Lauren.
There’s no place better to kick off summer than our very own Bethesda. Get out there!
